Delivers reliable analysis of complement pathway activation with quantitative detection of activation fragment C3a in human plasma, serum or other experimental samples. Elevated levels of C3a have been associated with a variety of disease states including ischemic heart disease and several autoimmune diseases (including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosis). The MicroVue C3a Plus Kit is standardized using ultra-pure, highly characterized C3a protein. It includes convenient, ready to use standards and a highly specific proprietary monoclonal antibody to ensure accurate and reproducible results.
